The difference between hemp oil and CBD oil

Just Chill ProductsCBD And Your Health, Uncategorized

For many years Hemp products have been available on the market in numerous forms from culinary products to cosmetics, soaps, lotions and balms.

When the focus was shifted to the effect of cannabis on several health issues, it was quite easy for anyone to get confused with Hemp oil and CBD oil.

Hemp as mostly used for industrial uses, is a plant that grows very high and has less than 0.3% THC.

It is legal to sell and ship and to use for consumption.

CBD oil extracts are mostly obtained from the leaves and flowers of the Cannabis Sativa plant and even though Hemp and Sativa or Indica are classified under the general name Cannabis, it does not have the same effects.

It is important to differentiate between Hemp oil and CBD oil as CBD oil is the one used in medicinal marijuana with great effect. This does not mean to say that Hemp oil doesn’t have a role to play.

What is Hemp Oil?

Hemp oil is made from crushed hemp seeds with a relatively low CBD count.

Hemp oil mainly gets used in topical applications and therefor is used in soaps, lotions and shampoos or conditioners.

Hemp seeds can be consumed just as it is or used in protein form as a very healthy food supplement.

There is virtually no THC present in Hemp oil so Hemp products are totally legal in all 50 states of the US and around the World.

 The properties of CBD Oil

Where Hemp oil gets made from the seeds of hemp plant, CBD rich oil extracts are made mostly from cannabis flowers and sometimes from leaves and stalks as well just to add additional bit of rang of cannabinoids that the whole cannabis plant has to offer.

CBD rich oil extracts are usually also very low on THC.

CBD stands for Cannabidiol.

Cannabidiol is a cannabinoid found in cannabis and is not psychoactive.
Research shows the many benefits of CBD to human health.

As humans we all have the so called endocannabinoid system with receptors in our body that recognize cannabinoids.

Cannabinoids are “understood” and accepted by the human body endocannabinoid system and therefor the results are very positive on our health.

CBD oil can be used topically and internally.

Both Hemp oil and CBD oils can be used to enrich our health but it is important to know that CBD enriched oils focus on healing aspects and the higher the CBD count is, the more effective the result.

It is my opinion that the more research is done to understand how the cannabidiol works, the easier it would get to obtain CBD oil.
